I am an avid fan of all things audio. Everything from the latest in music and video production, to classic radio dramas, I love it all. I can remember clearly the moment I first experienced a sound recording first hand as a child… It was magic brought to life. At the time, of course, recording was nothing like today. Grand pa’s tape cassette recorded was more than enough to inspire me however…

My life changed that afternoon as a young boy when he showed me how to press “play & record” at-the-same-time and capture the world around me in sound. Years later my favorite uncle bought a Sony Walkman. I can still feel the curiosity as he put the headphones on my head… I never wore headphones of any kind before this, and I certainly never experienced music pumping through my ears with the shortest direct path to my brain before… I couldn’t tell you what song it was or how long I was frozen in place, but I can tell you what I felt…. Excited!

Today I am living my dream. I record, mix, and edit audio. I write music and play guitar in the best Band I have ever been a part of. I not only teach but specialize in audio production plug-ins representing many amazing developers. I love to edit audio. It is my Zen… But most of all I love the people. No other industry on Earth can come close to the talent, creativity, and sheer utter coolness of the all-things-audio-world and its people. We are part geek, part captain, part fearless, part insane, and all things love….
